The heart is a voluntary muscle.

Who are we?

YouSud was born from an idea by Antonio, Nicola, Alessandro, Pasquale, Anna, Lorenzo, Luca, Valentina, Marco, Enrico, and Giorgio.
People with different backgrounds and experiences—photographers, marketing managers, designers, communication experts, aid workers, volunteers, professionals, friends, pizza and buffalo mozzarella lovers—united by a common root: Caserta, southern Italy, and the desire to truly lend a hand.

Why YouSud?

Because we are inside, and you are inside.

You: you who participate, you who lend a hand, you who want to make a difference.

South: our starting point. We were born in Caserta, with all the warmth, irony, and strength of Southern Italy... and from there we decided to broaden our horizons to other southern parts of the world, from Madagascar to Senegal.

In short, YouSud means bringing together energies: yours, ours, and those of the communities we work with. A simple, direct name that tells who we are: people from the South who build bridges with other Southern regions, with the desire to create beautiful things together!

Our Mission

YouSud aims to support local communities by implementing projects that help increase the potential and skills of each person.
We operate in the fields of education, schooling, and training, in collaboration with schools and vocational training centers, striving to ensure quality, inclusive, and equitable education for all.
We support canteens and food security programs by improving the quality of nutrition and ensuring access to food.
We promote cultural and artistic activities, youth gatherings, sports, and inclusion, encouraging healthy growth and sustainable development models.

Our Vision

YouSud wants to build a society based on respect for human rights and the dignity of every person, on justice and social solidarity, promoting a culture of peace and popular participation.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens canchange the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
