La Bonne Semence is a primary school located in the municipality of Anosiala, not far from Antananarivo. It is located in a rural classroom with very few schools and many children.
La Bonne Semence was founded by Tantely, a teacher and director, who took charge of its management until it was temporarily closed due to the pandemic. After a cyclone and two incidents of theft, the school was at risk of closing permanently.
In 2022, thanks to YouSud and with the support of Auto Marotta, educational activities resumed: we renovated the building, which was in very poor condition, created a small vegetable garden and a canteen, provided teacher training and school supplies for all students.
We will continue to support Bonne Semence so that it can grow as a place of learning and community. The goal is to guarantee every child in Anosiala the right to a quality education in a safe and welcoming environment.
